Big shout out to the Putney Massive, i.e. the lovely Katski (or [info]androctonus as some call her) for a most pleasant evening by the river drinking Pimms.  I owe you drinkies methinks.  Consider this an IOU.  Innit.

Off to my country retreat with [info]sveinn later.  I understand the weather will be nice all weekend so I'm most pleased. We shall visit my sister, hubby and nephews in the morning, and spend the afternoon eating my Mothers homemade cheese scones, Vicky sponge (with proper buttercream) and drinking Mead and Pimms in the garden.  Huzzah.  Seriously, does it get much better? *grin*

:( jealous. I spent almost 2 hours trying to get from Uxbridge to my house via public transport last night. then my bloke was out, so I tidied bedroom. (it did really really need it!)


Not managed any knitting all blooming week!!!!! HMMPH or sitting by a river for that matter. Although I appear to have burned my face without going outside for more than 10 mins at a time and seekign shade wherever possible

I sympathise. I burn really easily too, and smothered myself in SPF 30 before I even thought about leaving the house yesterday.

Hey, if the weather's nice after next choir sesh we should just pile into my car and go to Putney, it's only 10 mins down the road. Riverside drinking will be ours for the enjoying.

Yeah... and it would have taken me 90 odd minutes to get there, 90 odd to get back and you told me about it at about 20:30 or so... Nothing like a bit of advanced warning there, sparky...

For some reason I didn't think you were around...probably cos you didn't respond to the post about this yesterday.....'twas a bit impromptu.

Sorry honey, I have hormone brain at the mo and spent most of yesterday either asleep or in pain so I wasn't exactly on the ball.

Anyway, it was Kats idea so really it's her fault ;-). I'm joking Kat, don't hunt me down or nuttin
